Despite its maturity, the wine opens with a vibrant color and aromatic profile. The nose is highly complex, where fruity notes and aging characteristics swirl together. Alongside ripe black cherry, blackberry, and plum jam, delicate tertiary aromas dominate, such as tobacco, graphite, and a hint of flint. It is a highly experiential bouquet that invites long analysis.

On the palate, we are met with a perfectly balanced structure. The ripe, polished tannins are still driven forward by intense acidity. Similar to the nose, the fruity notes appear first, followed by tertiary flavors. The finish is very long.
