Presentation of the project:
The project included the purchase of a new range of equipment for the production of fruit red wines: 1 Fer-kor stainless steel tank 40,000 litres, 6 Fer-kor stainless steel red wine fermentation tanks 4,000 litres, 1 Francesca F03.E rotary pump and 1 ELIPOMPA 100 mash pump.
With the acquisition of the equipment, the winery aims to expand its product range with new products.
The project will contribute to the introduction of the new product, thus increasing the company's efficiency and competitiveness. The structure of production will shift towards higher value-added products and the development will result in an increase in the technological readiness of the company. The project will contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives; it will increase the management results and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the activity, thereby also creating the possibility of job retention. In the case of the project, St.Andrea Ltd. has implemented an adaptive technological innovation development, which has resulted in its ability to meet the quality needs of those who prioritise wine consumption.
In the framework of the present project, an adaptive technological development has been introduced, thus the development is directly linked to the priority Agricultural Innovation as defined in the national or horizontal sectoral priorities of the National S3. As a result of the development, the technological readiness and competitiveness of the enterprise as well as resource efficiency will be increased.
