One of the outstanding events of Eger and the Eger wine region is this year’s commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the death of Géza Gárdonyi.
In this regard, the Egri Bikavér Borlovagrend and the Egri Borvidék invited the Egri wineries, including the St.Andrea Vineyard, to createEgri Csillag Superior and Egri Bikavér Superior specially packaged community wines, at the recommendation of the order.
With these quality and unique items, the Eger wine-growing community pays tribute to the memory of the renowned Hungarian writer and poet Géza Gárdonyi.
At the event, participants can taste wines from Eger (a total of 7 types) that have achieved outstanding results at both international and domestic wine competitions. In addition, on this day, the Gárdonyi 100 Egri Csillag Superior collaboration wine will also be presented, which is made especially for the commemorative year and is available in a limited number of bottles.
The tasting was done by dr. It is led by Gabriella Mészáros, DipWSET international wine academician and leading expert in domestic wine education.
